This Privacy Policy explains how the ClawLensXR Android application (the “App”) handles information when you connect supported Rokid glasses, use an OpenClaw Gateway, or enable optional voice and notification features. The controller responsible for the App is Dataviz.Boutique.
1. Information you choose to process
ClawLensXR connects to the OpenClaw Gateway that you select and configure. When you use the App, messages, photos you select, and transcripts produced from your speech may be sent to that Gateway. The Gateway may then send this information to AI models, messaging platforms, storage systems, or other services configured by you or the Gateway operator.
The Gateway operator and each configured service determine their own access, use, retention, and deletion practices. Deleting ClawLensXR or its local data does not delete conversations or files retained by a Gateway or another provider.
2. Microphone, speech recognition, and spoken replies
- Speech recognition: If you enable OpenAI speech recognition, recorded or streamed microphone audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Android speech recognition: If you use Android speech recognition, microphone audio is processed by the recognition service selected on your phone. Depending on that service and your settings, processing may occur on the device or online. For Google-operated services, see the Google Privacy Policy; a different selected provider’s policy may apply.
- Text-to-speech: If you enable cloud speech output, reply text is sent to the OpenAI or ElevenLabs service you selected so that it can generate audio. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy and ElevenLabs Privacy Policy.
Voice features are optional. You can disable them and revoke microphone permission in Android settings.
3. Photos and video
Photo commands may temporarily stage photos on your device, save them to the Android Gallery when you choose that option, or send selected photos to your configured Gateway. Photos sent to the Gateway may be passed onward to its configured services.
Video captured through the native glasses feature remains in the glasses’ vendor-managed media storage. ClawLensXR does not attach native glasses video to the OpenClaw Gateway. Deleting App data does not delete media already saved in Android Gallery or in the glasses’ native storage; manage those copies in the relevant Gallery or glasses tools.
4. Bluetooth, nearby devices, and location permission
ClawLensXR uses Bluetooth and nearby-device access to discover and connect to supported glasses. On Android versions where discovery is tied to location permission, the App requests location permission for that discovery and connection purpose.
The App integrates Rokid software components and may use the Hi Rokid companion installer to support glasses features. Rokid controls those components and their associated practices. Please review the notices and choices presented by Rokid and Hi Rokid before using those components.
5. Optional notification relay
If you explicitly enable notification access, ClawLensXR can access notifications you select and display their content on your paired glasses. This may include the sender, title, and message text contained in a notification. Do not grant notification access, or disable the relay and revoke notification access in Android settings, if you do not want notification content forwarded to the glasses.
6. Local credentials, storage, and security
- Gateway, device, and voice-provider credentials used at runtime are stored in Android Keystore-backed encrypted preferences.
- Android backup is disabled for the App, so App data is not included in Android’s normal backup and restore process.
- Detailed diagnostics are off by default, and public release builds restrict application logging. Android, device-vendor, Gateway, and provider components may have their own diagnostic practices.
No advertising or analytics service is configured in the reviewed App build. This statement does not mean that closed-source operating-system, device-vendor, Gateway, or provider components never collect diagnostic or service data; their respective policies apply.
7. Retention and deletion
You can remove local App information by clearing App storage or uninstalling the App. This does not remove copies you intentionally saved elsewhere. Media already saved to Android Gallery or the glasses must be deleted there.
Gateway operators and external providers control retention for information they receive. To access or delete information held by them, use that service’s controls or contact the relevant Gateway operator or provider. Dataviz.Boutique cannot delete information from a user-selected Gateway or provider that it does not operate.
8. Your choices and controls
- Choose which Gateway and external voice services to configure.
- Choose which photos to save or send.
- Disable voice features and notification relay.
- Revoke microphone, Bluetooth, nearby-device, location, notification, photo, or media permissions in Android settings.
- Disconnect the Gateway, remove saved credentials, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
- Use the Gateway operator’s and external providers’ controls to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
9. Third-party services
Your use of OpenClaw Gateways, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Android speech providers, Rokid or Hi Rokid components, and any services configured by a Gateway is also governed by those providers’ notices and terms. Before enabling a service, review its privacy information and retention controls.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its integrations, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date.
